The World's Best Mugcake Recipe

Do you like rich, yummy chocolate cakes? Would you like a mini version, simply made in a mug? What if I could tell you that it takes less than 10 minutes to make and 2 minutes to bake? If so, here’s a quick and easy recipe for making a delicious mug cake!


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of self-raising flour

  • 1/3 cups of sugar

  • 1/4 cup of cocoa powder

  • 1 beaten egg

  • 9 teaspoons of milk

  • 6 teaspoons of olive oil

  • Chocolate chips

  • Berries (optional)

  • Whipped cream (optional)

Recipe:

  1. First: add the flour, sugar and cocoa powder into a mug (tip - make sure the mug is microwave safe).

  2. Mix these ingredients in the mug until the mixture turns to a light brown.

  3. Add the egg, milk and olive oil.

  4. Mix until there are no clumps and it is a dark brown.

  5. Add in some chocolate chips, continuing to mix.

  6. Sprinkle some more chocolate chips on top of the mixture.

  7. Put the mug into the microwave for about 90 seconds on full power (1000 watts).

  8. If you want, you can add berries or whipped cream on top.

  9. Enjoy your mug cake!
