DOWNFALL OF BRAWL STARS

The downfall of brawl stars started at around late last year. Everyone has their different opinions on how brawl stars fell of some people think it is becaus/e of  bad updates some people thinks is the removal of masteries but today we will tell you what exactly.

Brawl Stars used to be a popular game, but the real reasons it fell off are somewhat based on updates. Many players believe the updates have just been really bad and not exciting. However, the truth is that in the past year while the game has been losing popularity, it has still had some good updates. For example the May update, Battle for Katana Kingdom was a big hit since it gave OP powerups, glitches and skins!

Most of the downfall came from the update when masteries were removed and records replaced them. Players feel that records are much more grindy and take far more time. On top of that, the rewards are not considered worth it. For instance, getting 50 wins for just a Starr Drop that could end up being rare feels disappointing. What players really want are rewards they can see ahead of time. For example, instead of a random Starr Drop after 20 wins (The first reward for a brawler record), it could be guaranteed credits, power points, or coins.

The removal of masteries also made titles much harder to grind for. Most people rage- quitted after realizing that getting just one title requires 300 wins. Another big reason for the decline has been unbalanced brawlers. Another reason brawl stars has been falling off is the unbalanced brawlers, the developers adding new brawlers may seem fun but it really is unfair to the free to play players since the new brawlers are always overpowered many of the people have been losing trophies because of this causing them to quit.

The lack of permanent features has caused many players to quit. Players are not even liking updates with some of the reasons being in most updates the devs are not adding any permanent features which is what us as brawl stars players want. Another feature that I think started the downfall of brawl stars is the December  2024 update with the release buzz lightyear. The players of brawl stars HATED buzz lightyear. We all hated buzz lightyear and they kept buzz lightyear in the game for 2-3 months which in that period no one wanted to play they quit and never came back which then started the downfall of brawl stars.
