Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Isabel Rodrigo was born on the 20th of February, 2003, in Murrieta, California. She was born to Jennifer and Chris who raised an only child, and is currently a singer, songwriter and actress. When Olivia was growing up she was deaf in her left ear. She was first known for starring in two of the most popular series on Disney+: High School Musical: The Series and Bizaardvark. She then wanted to focus on her recording career, so signed a contract with Geffen Records to release her first single in 2021 named Drivers License, which made it to the Billboard Hot 100. Drivers License shot her to prominence internationally, when she then debuted her album, Sour, in May of 2021. This album included her second number one song Good 4 U; these songs won her three Grammy Awards. There is a documentary called Olivia Rodrigo: Driving Home 2 U which was released in 2022, which records the process of creating Sour. Then, the next year, she released her second album: Guts. In total, she has put out three Billboard Hot 100 singles that reached number one, and two Billboard 200 number one albums. Also, she has released multiple platinum songs per the Recording Industry Association of America. Other awards she achieved include the American Music Award, seven Billboard Music Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards. Including these awards, she has also been acknowledged as Time’s Entertainer of the Year in 2021, Billboard’s Woman of the Year in 2022 and Songwriter of the year at the ASCAP Pop Music Award in 2022 and 2024. Olivia Rodrigo has performed two concert tours in total, those being Sour and the currently live Guts World Tour. Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour tour began on 5th April 2022. This tour started in Portland, Oregon and she did shows all across North America and Europe. The Sour tour concluded in London on July 7th. In total she did forty nine tours. There were a lot of famous people in her opening acts like Gracie Abrams, Holly Humberstone, Chappell Roan and Baby Queen. The second tour she is doing is The Guts World Tour. The tour began on February 23,2024 in Palm Springs in California. Her tour will stop on the 30th March 2025 in Bogota which will comprise 99 shows in total. The tour will be across North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and South America. In her opening acts she will have singers like The Breeders, Chappell Roan, PinkPantheress,Remi Wolf and Benee. She will also be coming to Singapore on the 1st and 2nd October of this year.
